this is a favourite yang chow. I’ve ordered ycfr in many restos. often one unlike the other. sometimes very good but can be oily. this recipe + more ginger & more garlic and some optional sliced Chinese sausage is fantastic!

Could be but also, to remove the extra moisture from rice as well

refrigerate your rice para maging kanin lamig?! hahaha! if i am not mistaken this is not an original chinese yang chow rice..pero sounds fair enough..congrats to the page owner.
